I want from you to post some sources of calcium that will be acceptable by chickens except oyster shell.
and please tell me some sources of protein ( especially grains )
I want to feed my chickens a balanced-natural food to get natural eggs.

I save eggshells bake them till their brittle and crush them up and give them to the flock.

Please post some sources of calcium that chickens can eat besides oyster shells and please tellbme some sources of protien (especially grains). I want to feed my chickens a balanced-natural food to get natural eggs.

Really, just about perfect.

As for protien: Bugs, worms and cat food
Calcium: I agree baked, crushed egg shell.

If you free range, however, the chickens will likely find their own.
