This pullet has the color I'm going to shoot for in calicos. She has a little bit of black in her tail feathers, but that's ok with me right now.

Her two brothers that I kept - one has mille fleur on his chest and the other has her calico color on his chest. The roos have a lot more black and red in tails and hackles than she has.

I'll keep the mille boy to breed with my mille fleur hen - the calico boy will be with his sister.

At least now I have a plan!

Joanie~ she's looks like my little Jasmine. I just love this little pullet. Every time I try to take pictures she's always right there in front of the camera wanting attention and posing for the camera. They are just so sweet~ I think I'm in love! lol

Love that coloring. I have 7 of these girls in with my dark "Dude" roo now. They were being used in my calico pen and to help with my buff Mottleds but I just have so many projects going on that I move them where they are needed most.
Just love that face!
