The Basque is almost back to normal(she was attacked too-not the attacker) The P Pene was much more active tonight and looked like she had been eating more.

They should both recover!

Lual is an amazing painter. Did you notice her Avatar? That is another one of her paintings. She is an amazing artist and better yet, several of her paintings include birds !!!

When can I hold the new baby?? She's 11 hours old & fluffed!! I want to hold her so badly!!

Once the chick is fluffed and moving around there's no reason it can't be held gently. The only problem still at that point, would be if you had other eggs that are still hatching. You don't want to keep opening the incubator if there are other eggs still in the process of pipping/zipping.

Glad to hear she is doing well.
