California - Northern

I needed an outlet for all my pictures and local food passion so I started a FB page :) http://www.facebook.com/AsTheEggTurns?ref=tn_tnmn if anyone is inclined to follow on FB I just started it today. If you have a farm type FB of your own please add it so I can follow you from that account. :D

I'll check it out. Mine is www.facebook.com/highndryfarm if we're allowed to share that on here. Just dont let FB change you to a community page because you wont show up in the feed of the people who like the page.

zooweemama, love your pictures so much! You really have such talent. I peeked at your instagram (well, followed) and holy cow lady! How do you do it all? I wish we were closer, my six year old daughter would love to hang out with your girls, I bet.

I finally got pictures of the new babies. Any breed guesses are more than welcome! I know some of them and others only time will tell.

These babies are super sweet. The one below especially is very inquisitive and friendly. I thought they were maybe Dark Cornish, but now I'm not sure. What do you think? They should be from the Brown Layer Assortment.

Button, my sweet babe.

any way to tell?
These look like Partridge Rock chicks. They are very friendly.

I think that I have it all taken care of now. I just spent 1 1/2 hr on hold with PayPal and then 30 min with the nicest lady. She took care of everything for me and told me that I had done everything right. I am opening a new bank account to link to PayPal and then I think that everything should be okay. It had been a while since I changed my eBay and PayPal passwords. I won't make that mistake again.
Sorry you had to go through this, but I will learn from your experience and change my passwords also. Great idea about opening a separate account just for PP.

Wow! Deeling and Zooweemama, those are some lively photos! I wish my girls' run was taller so I could get in there with them to take some pictures of my own!

I just overheard my boss say that he won't eat free range eggs because they eat their poop if they free range, and that caged birds don't have access to their poop. OMG!!
OMG, you should have him google images of battery caged birds. Horrific. Where do people come up with this poop?

I always have golden campines, they are one of my major breeds. I collect around a dozen eggs from them per day. If you want chicks, let me know and I can set some. At hatch they would be straight run, but I can usually sex them by 10-14 days.

I just hatched a bunch of Deb's GC chicks. They are by far the coolest looking chicks I have ever hatched, and I have hatched alot of chicks. I wish they kept their chick pattern,- it is really striking. But then again the adults are adults are gorgeous too.

The clean legged grey babies. I think these are our Columbian Wyandottes

Feather footed grey babies. I think these are Light Brahmas.

At least one of these is a RIR (we ordered one), maybe both. They're very sweet.

The buff babies! We ordered two Buff Orpington hens and 1 Roo. Not sure if these are all Orpingtons or if there's a mix of other buff breeds. Is there really any way to tell?

Pretty baby

We ordered two Australorps, I'm not sure if these all are or if two of them are something else.

Cora, one of my other favorites. She's also very calm and sweet. Look at her little beak, the horn is still on it.

Cora

This yellow baby is the only one of its kind.

Five toes! (The feet of the baby pictured below.)

A Salmon Favorelle, my free exotic. Kind of a jerk to the other chicks.

Partridge Cochin. One's a hen and one's a roo. Look at their little feet! We named them Lyra and Pantalaimon

The other (I think this one is the girl)

The smaller one was trying to hide under the bigger ones wing. They're incredibly soft and some of the more skittish babies.

These are so awesome!!! Oh my goodness. You got ALL kinds of chicks. Jealous! So cute! I can't wait to chase them all around with my camera! These are great shots. Sorry about your little jerk exotic. hehe Already a diva!

I liked you. I hope it's ok to share this stuff on here- I honestly didn't think about that part. I am not selling anything. It's most an outlet for my excess of pics and obsession with non gmo monsanto issues hehe.
