Quote: I'm using the Brinsea Octagon 20. It's expensive but let me tell you, after hatching in the Little Giant and fighting to exhaustion to keep temp and humidity correct was redeulous! I sold it as fast as I could after the hatch was over. I thought I'd never want to hatch again. But after having broodies last year and too many people wanting chicks this year and no broody yet I decided to buy an incubator. After all the research I decided on the Brinsea Octagon 20 with the hydropump. Every time it goes off I giggle because that would be me trying to bring up the humidity and trust me, it goes off a lot!
I'll tell you, go get what you pay for. It's pricy but when others were buying the styrafoam style I felt back because the money you save will be replaced in your time commitment. If you have more time and don't care if you sleep then those would be fine but not for me. I has a pretty good success in the LG, considering I took eggs out of the refridgerator and still got about 65% hatch rate. If you can afford it, get the Brinsea and just watch it work.
