Oh you're awful! Lol! You chicken addict you :p maybe next weekend ;) of course I don't have the coop capacity for more :S oh! Can you tell if Sprinkles is a boy? Any idea if the two blue chicks are both orps? Or one is an orp and the other is something else?

Is the smaller blue shaped more like the olive egger project?

Nikon, I love your pictures so much! Is that your yard? It's so beautiful. You must be a wonderful gardener, too! And I'm totally jealous of your offer from Miss Molly.

Here are some of the chicks! I think 17 is going to be our number

. There are nine in the incubator still, but I'm pretty sure they are quitters.

Sticky - she zipped completely but then got stuck badly. Her head was glued to her body with her wing glued to her face. She seems to be doing great, though! I'm so glad.

One of our store bought egg babies. They're so cute and fluffy!

The yellow one is the first one I had to help (just zipped for her) and the other is our first hatcher.

Fuzzant - SO CUTE THE FLUFFY CHEEKS (Fuzzant is what Clementine called Pheasants when she was little. Mark named the chick that for obvious reasons.)

Seriously it's so cute I can barely stand it.

This one is a little spitfire.

Pretty bitsy baby. She's one of Deann's and smaller than a lot of the others.

I think these two are so pretty and interesting.

Here they are! Sweet babies. The silkies are in the tub to the left. I was going to take pictures of them but they went outside for the first time and are napping.

Deerling,,
Congrats on your chicks. They are so adorable. I have over incubated and getting more rare eggs then i know what to do with..I am willing to make deals with anyone... :) "Share the love." ;)

My new chickens are so funny. I have tried to give them all sorts of treats....they don't like any of them! I have tried yogurt, BOSS, greens, popped popcorn, banana, fresh pumpkin....they kind of liked boiled egg but not super excited about it. Any other treats that may entice my girls?

Hmmm. Kinda, maybe? It's definitely NOT shaped like Brawny. The smaller one has more wing feathers and tail feathers and is more "long" in stature. While Brwawny, while she's actually grown in size now still looks like a little chick with all her down and has like half the wing feathers and the other and no real tail feathers in yet. Also, the small Blue chick has hints of brown in her wings. Still though... it looks more stocky that the OE's. So lost. LOL

So here's two side-by-side comparisons. The two blue chicks and on the bottom the female OE. The other OE is a lil man and looks a little different.

So adorable! Thanks! That means a lot to me about the photos

Well..... Miss Molly and I have mentioned maybe doing a meet-up at her place and doing a chicken photography workshop possibly.... Completely in the mental dreaming phase though.

Not even in the bator yet so to speak.

Oh, about the yard, I'm no master gardner. The Hub's and I have been living with his Grandma. We just take care of the place and keep it pretty. Although we can take full credit for the Bed & Breakfast coop.

Those are very cute chicks!

Do you have the next batch of eggs ordered yet for the incubator?
