Fair warning on cream legbar roosters. They have a penetrating crow. Much more then any other type I have.

You can hear Orlando a mile away.

That explains it! Animal control is less than a mile away from me....Orlando got me busted for having Roos! Are Bresse Roos are quiet!

In Woodland they have Puina Layeena--I think close to 20 and a generic layer close to 18. I think the medicated starter, Purina, is in the same price range.

At one point I had two roosters picked out to keep from two different lines so one was marked with one zip tie on one leg and this one with two zip ties so I could tell them apart

Ohhh it looked like they were connected. I figured he had been a very naughty rooster!

Ron, My Bresse roo has a beautiful, loud crow! My DH is not fond of hearing a rooster crow but he wants so badly to have Chauvelin in town with us. It is the funniest thing! He loves that rooster!

They really are something. One of the pullets has been adopted by my middle daughter as a pet. Her Name is Angela and has a purple band on her leg.

My Bresse Roosters have not started to crow yet. They are getting big combs so I expect them to start soon
