Thanks. I am just getting back into having Chickens and so far ok except one sick hen( runny stinky nose) and she is actuall going back to the guy I got her from. Ialso am goingto pick up some Duramycin-10 and treat the other ladies that I have incase they might of caught soming.

I'm down the street in San Jose.

Smelling bad with nose can be infectious coryzia. Check what they use to treat that if its tylan give me a yell I have some extra so you don't have to buy a 50 bottle.

Hi all HELP! Beakface the persistent broody has a pip...or more accuaretly it looks like the shell has been crushed on one side but I can see the chick moving under the membrane. This is day 20. Should I just leave her alone???

On a related note should I move her and the eggs/chicks all to the broody pen tonight? When do you all move them. You may remember that I tried to move her when she first went broody and she would have none of my nonsense.

Thanks Chiquita. I can get Duramycin-10 at An And Jans in cupertino for 7.99. It treats coryzia too. I'll put it in the water to treat the other girls if I need too. The guy I got this hen from is off Almaden Rd twords the Siler Creek Mine...
