We never have any sales here in Butte County....at least none that I know of.....

There was a show in Red Bluff in (May?) this year. We did get a flyer from the show host, they hope to do it again next year.

I still haven't ruled it out but we are thinking of visiting my parents outside Redding for Christmas.

The thought of leaving eggs here with no supervision worries me. 2 days without power/heat would be a lousy thing to return to and it's been known to happen up here.

We travel with 3 dogs. Not sure what we would do with the kitten. Don't have anyone crazy enough to take on all the birds, 13 coops/pens. Let alone adding an incubator to the mix, it would be easy to move it to another house but adjusting the temp/humidity would be to risky.

I havent looked! They are still skittish one got scred by the smell of dog and chomped my hand today. I have to work harder on my bribes.

i'll be the same, heading to NY for a week around christmas, so no more hatching for me til 2014.

even I have slowed as I do not have a generator yet and do not want to go through the now power snow hassle again
