Okay a little help from you chicken experts, i am at a complete loss.

I sold somebody some black copper Marans hatching eggs And one of the eggs hatched out to be a yellow chick! On one side of their pen are Partridge orps who have not leave yet, And on the other side are crested Cream Legbars. The marans are the only chocolate layers I have. I sent him all chocolate colored eggs. Is it possible to get an albino? Lol

Looks like poultry protector spray is pyrethrum. And I sprayed the coop down with it. I will have to order poultry dust. What is Ivomec?

You can always use a few drops of front line too if you have that handy.

It does not take much. I would have to look it up but is is like 1/4 cc dabbed around the vend and under the wings--It has to go on the skin.

So it's for worming as well as mites/lice?

In the video the babies are fighting over the mealies ( playing tug of war over one). Also, Brinsea has 20% off some incubators till DEC 1 !! Also, attached is a turkey themed cake I made. I hope the turkey constitutes as poultry material for this thread Happy Thanksgiving!!

Yes! It kills Worms, mites and lice.

Using it too often will build resistance but once a year should be fine.

@HappyChooks posted the dosage: 1\2 tsp. for large fowl and 1/4tsp. for Bantam on the skin. Put some near the vent and some under the wings.

I'd treat with Ivomec too. It's a good time to worm your birds and it will get rid of the lice/mites too. Treat everyone, lice can be hard to get rid of. Massive coop cleaning, nest box cleaning, etc.

Dosage for Ivomec is 1/2 cc for large/normal sized chickens, 1/4 cc for bantams or juveniles. You must get it on the skin (between their wings). It will not work if you put it on their feathers.

It's a good time to worm them. Loss of weight is a sign of worms. If you see worms in their poop, they are overloaded with them.

Looking at Ivomec online I see 4 different formulations on 1 website alone (VelleyVet.com).. There is Pour-on, drench and 2 different injectables. One of the injectables has 10% w/v clorsulon, the other is just 1% ivermectin. Can you be specific on which one to use?
