The coop treatment is all you need to do. Mites live in the corners and come out at night. Don't worry about the yard.

Both the pour on and the injectable kill both worms and lice and mites. Pour on goes on the skin. Injectable goes into the water or is squirted into their mouth. Do not put the pour on in water or squirt it into their mouth. It is not for internal use. It is not digestible.

Thanks!

I know someone in Norcal that wants Dorkings. Ron , Chiqita
do either of you have any laying?
if so can I forward her a email address or number?
you can pm me.

@capayvalleychick has SG Dorkings. I am fairly sure Kim has sold her culls but she may have more.

Dick Horstman sold some eggs to a person last week though. He is best reached by phone.

she said she got some from a breeder in PA that was a judge.
They where in a egg carton with shredded paper.
5 out of 15 where broke of course.

People spend so much time breeding good birds then ruin it by shipping poorly

Since you are already treating with Valbazen, you might want to consider using Frontline(Fiprinol?spelling) There are generics for it. It does not take much per chicken.

I might have the dosage for that somewhere if you want me to find it. Frontline gets into the meat but not the eggs so much.
Thanks Ron, would you know about Frontline withdrawal period?

Sounds delicious! My sister is making a cranberry apple pie. And we promised to bring something green/vegetable, since it always seems Thanksgiving dinner is very monochromatic.

So fancy! Nothing I make ever looks so pretty, but usually it tastes ok.

Nice looking cake!
Thank you @AlpineButterfly and @ronott1 . Hopefully it tastes as good as it looks

Does anyone have a nice fluffy sweet white dinner roll recipe? Mine always come out like dense bricks lol
I've found the best combo that tastes like Texas Roadhouse Rolls. I get the frozen rolls (trust me it's amazing) BUT it has to be Rhodes Texas Dinner rolls. Then you take the whipped butter (in the tub), mix it with honey to your liking and Voila!! I know Texas road house adds cinnamon, but I believe there's honey in there's too. But THIS is the best!

Here's what I'm working on tonight. It's easy and awesome:

When I suggested Horstman, I told the person to call him up and request that he packed the eggs in foam. He shipped the replacement egg for me that way and they did much better.

I agree completely about the terrible packing. It seems that the USPS is often blamed when eggs are packed badly.

Iirc Front line goes into the oil glands so no egg withdrawal,

We did exciting things in the new kitchen today and then ate crab for birthday dinner. Now everyone is contemplating if there is room for crack pie......

Frontline does not get into the eggs--I read a study about it. To be safe, wait 2 weeks after treatment to eat the eggs.

I have a recipe that makes great rolls. It even has instructions for making three shapes of rolls. I like the triplets rolls.

Here is a recipe for a small batch of rolls:
