Chicken mamma those are beautiful!

@alibra ( see if that works) our house has hedges at every wall for hiding and we put cds on all the trees. Lost a few to hawks last year when the cds were down. My runs are all covered. Our biggest problem is the spring when the mammas move juvenile hawks into the area to learn to hunt. I have to be very careful with silkies and babies then.

I just had someone tell me 2 hrs after they were supposed to be here ( and after I emailed them to find out what was up) they were not going to show for a kitten appointment. It is funny. I'm not too fussed with a cl flake for chickens but someone not bothering to let me know when I'm a volunteer somewhere gets to me much more.

I think it is because I ran volunteer groups for so long. You should not screw with those people!

I always find those little difference in how we handle situations amusing. Even when it's me :)

What dose do you use for ivermectin? For worming adult chickens? It's the pour on.

Ron, I didn't snapshot the instructions you have me :/

1/4cc for you ones and Bantams. 1/2cc for Big ones. Under the wings and neat the vent.

Do not worry about over dosing--9 times too much will make them sick but not kill them.

Just make sure to get it on their skin, not their feathers.

We got another 3" of snow this afternoon. it was really coming down. The highest it got all day was 28 now its 25. still cloudy but no more snow. as the sun goes down its going to get cold fast.

Ron the chickens should be ok. they stayed mostly in the coops which have snow on 3 sides now lol.
should help insulate them tonight.

I did get my Stuck Subaru turned around at least
we ended up with about 13"

Good news Jason! It would be terrible to have frost bitten combs on your Penes!
