OK flock, it is time to have a little chat.
Ducks, the silkie coop is not your underground mansion that has been taken over by angora monsters. They live there you do not. Stop hiding in there and making me look for you for hours. Also the new/shavings are a new color, this is true. They are not however evil nor will they kill you. Hissing and charging them will not scare them away, and you will like to sleep on clean bedding. You can't dig it all out and move it to outside your pen and don't try!

Roosters, once you learn to crow do not decide in a moment of clarity you are going to take over the world. All othercock birds will kick your butt. That silkie may look small and fluffy but he rules with an iron claw and he will kick your butt. Also moving to the coop under my window is not the way to learn to crow.

Guinea dear you are not a chicken. Stop trying to fertilize my marans eggs (speaking of it anyone have an extra female guinea?) Marans you have nest boxes, use them!!!

Silkies the ground will not harm you if you walk on it. Go poo there. Also if you do not lay eggs you have nothing to sit on . try it many chicken feel this is a great and fufiling life and take pride in eggs!you could join them.

Nutmeg, the nest box I made you is very nice. There is no need to sneak out and lay in the compost bin.

How much would you charge to come talk to my chickens?

Ok Chiqita...

I'm supposed to be studying my textbook like a responsibile adult. But, instead I snuck a peek at the BYC site and your comedy act has me laughing out loud. My husband thinks I've lost it.

So, thank you. I needed that :>
