I just recently got my Sizzle roo from Sheri Minkner(?)  at the Hollister show.  He is black and I have him in with some blue silkie hens from silkie eggs purchased from the Stockton show a couple of years ago  ( can't remember who I got the eggs from but they were from down by LA).  I wasn't thinking about Sizzles when I went to the show, I just needed a new silkie roo since a Golden Eagle  ate mine.  I didn't care for any of the silkie roos I saw, but loved the little sizzle.  The first eggs went into the incubator yesterday.

Oh nice! I thought about buying him but I promised to not get any more general population chickens to mario. You'll get all 4 types from that breeding it makes for tons of fun (unless he has a double Smooth gene in which case you'll just get the 2 types. Or did you get the/frilkie boy she had?) Either way it will be so fun to see chicks!

Also, one of my turkeys just changed sexes! Celery is now male celery! Looks like I'm going to have a turkey for sale. But wth with strutting for the first time at around 8-10 months???

@ronott1 i re-looked at those pics i posted last night and i can see the second dot u said u saw i never saw it when i took the pic though haha
do the doubles need to be turned more often since theres two birds instead of one?

No, turning is the same for two.

ok a little help here please, here are my CCLs im confused about! they all seem to have chipmunk stripes, which ones do you think are boys or girls?

My girls had stripes, and my boys had very little. But I did not hatch a ton before I had all the problems and then the attack. I can tell you how similar they are to silver leghorns however! ( cry)

I will deff keep everyone posted on that egg. one of the eggs is a dud i know but the double and an EE egg are devolping great

the double is on day 7-8 and the EE is on day 4 and i can already see veining ^^ im excited haha
