Yes all the cackle chicks are bantams and only one of the eggs is a bantam the other two are standard size EE and buff orpington if im correct.
the eggs would only be like 10 or so days younger would it really make a difference?
Really!? I bet that's what she has because the eggs are truly huge! Maybe I need one or two for my egg laying flock. I like to put odd eggs in for people. The odd enormous white egg would be fun! I also need some chocolate eggers.California Greys!!! I have 4 different white egg laying breeds...on is not a breed but a cross and the CG is far and away the easiest most fun and sweetest girl.
CA Greys could easily be mistaken as BRs as chicks and older to someone who thinks every cuckoo or barred is a BR. They lay a HUGE chalk white egg.
CA Greys again...I sure hope they are fine. Nutridrench is great. You can give it in the water and dip beaks or you can put a drop or two on the beaks of droopy birds! My birds from Privett arrived hail and hearty. Hope they are all 100%![]()
Lovely girls! They just stated showing up a week ago and are all single yolked. I think they are from by two year old Partridge Rocks, which are not that big of birds. They are shaped like rock eggs so that is my guess. They are the color of the Bresse eggs, but they lay a more traditionally shaped egg. My Partridge Rocks from last year. They are the same size now:My biggest girls are the Australorps but they are pullets still and lay much smaller and a bit darker eggs.
