Okay so i found an article on here about editing a tube sock as the same principle as the rooster collar. im not sure hpw well itll wprk but my dad has.t heard any crowing yet we will see in the morning. with our roos when i say "get rid of" it means kill him so im wanting that as a last resort.
do the hoods like falconers work on chickens? (Meaning would the principle work and i could make some)

I'm bringing this post forward that @Audio51 posted. I'm curious what some of you think. I have no need as my coops are a good distance from my house or any neighbors.

@PetRock and I have posted about rooster collars for a while now.

They work by making the Rooster quieter. It works better with some than with others.

You Mileage May Vary.

I find they work bwtter when ajusted frequently on lf. It is very hard to get it to stay on a silkie or showgirl. I am not having huge luck with them as the loud ones in the am are silkies under my window.
ALl silkies and showgirls should have black skin. White silkies can be yellow or silver at birth( gold or silver based white). My splash are throwing the occational white and I cant tell them untill later . They are a freaky genetic mystery.

No, I'm taking my final exam for my International Business class (100 questions and 22 pages) and I'd rather be plucking out my eyelashes one at a time. You are providing me a nice little distraction...THANK YOU!
