California - Northern

Okay before I go away another plea for help. Denny Lotsapaints wants a bantam Ameracuana rooster. She thinks the little eggs are cute & has a few little hens. I'm in Turlock & she is in Paso Robles. Somewhere where either of us can get him would be fine.
Thanks
Karen

Hi @bayareachick

to the thread!

It is great to have you posting here! There are a lot of us out your way.

Come back and say hi!

Here's a couple from my hatch. They were here and now in new homes. Didn't have the best hatch, but think it was due to my rooster in every 3-4 days. He was being too rough. I thought that was enough time. I got 10 out of 15 or 16 eggs. 1 was an early quitter, the other were clear

And Darn that Brinsea for making EVERYTHING that bright yellow and black!! They make it impossible for new products to blend into surroundings and my husband notices everything new! Got the brooder. Love it, but man I can't get anymore of their stuff anytime soon. Too much explaining to do to DH

Thanks Ron. Yes I am hooked. Looking at the Genesis for hatching out. And they were ADORABLE! been years since i've hatched babies. And these ones would fall asleep in your hand so content.

I like the big butts too but Aaron & I had to trim them so they would give me fertile eggs. He catches & holds them & I trim the fluff off the backsides.....
That's on my to do list. I have a few birds who are so fluffy in the hindquarters that the poop builds up. Once they are washed and trimmed, the problem goes away. Two of them are my big marans/ameraucana mix OE's. So far, they are not letting Zoro have his way with them. We'll see what happens after their spa treatment!
