So far for this hatch, Group W33 has been the Champ!

I set 6 eggs to hatch and 6 eggs did hatch! They were in two tomato Baskets.

Maybe Kim should call her line of SG Dorkings Beef Steak Dorkings!

Also, they all have perfect feet and can you imagine more perfect looking SG Dorking Chicks?

This is a picture of three of them:

Awww!!!! They are soo cute! Well done on the 100% hatch!

That was for group W33. I have three eggs from other groups that do not look like they will hatch.

Who knows though?

Group W33 has a lot of vigor so far this year. It is encouraging! since there have been problems with SG Dorkings and vigor.

I'm getting eggs from my 2 year old layers.
They're huge!
So I wondered egg size weights.
EXTRA large is over 64 grams
Jumbo is over 71 grams

Mine were 73-75 and one was 77 grams!

They must think they're turkeys!

Edited for spelling
Those are huge chicken eggs, quite the meal!

The chicks look great! That hen produced some of the best, last year. I sent you an email, not sure if you got it. Do you want me to come pick them up now? Or are you waiting on some others?

I'm thinking the "Mystery Chicks" I got from the feed store all turned into boys...

We were thinking this one was a Silver Sebright, but it has a straight comb, and the lacing is weird. It might just be poor quality though.

Are there any boy "tells" for SL Polish? This one has some pretty big legs.

And the little Mottled Cochin's comb seems to be getting bigger. Darn feed store chicks!!
