California - Northern

It is supposed to work fine.

I do like wormers that are easy to use like that. Doesn't Valbazen go into the water?
I don't know. most places I've read says with bread or best to give each chicken with a syringe
The bread may work possibly. I could see a few feisty hens over dousing though lol

The Bread dosing would work with ivermectin because it is hard to over dose. Valbazen might be different.

I will check for you. Twincities poultry has a one dose wormer. It might be a pill though. I will check it too.

thanks. My rooster with lice likely has worms. They all coincide don't they lol.
I treated him with Frontline and now need to worm everyone

none for eating eggs. think it said 5 days for butcher

I need to worm soon and I can't get every bird so generally need a easy way to do it

I hear you there. Aaron & I work together & he catches & holds for me to treat then puts them in an empty pen until the all the birds in that pen are done, then they all go back in their home pen & we move on to the next pen. It is quite a process. I absolutely could not do it without his help.

yes. I don't want that .

I will see what tractor supply has and go from there

update another Empordanesa hatched and a black penedesenca is hatching now.

Good Job!

I have 14 SG Dorkings and12 Delawares hatched this morning.

Wominator
I'm not positive, but I think that the product that Twin Cities sells under the name of "Wominator" is flubendazole (Flubenvet). It's probably pretty safe, but I would want to know it's strength before giving it to my birds as I have found dosing errors on other medication on the Twin Cities site.

Trifen Plus
There is another wormer that says it will treat worms *and* mites, it's called Trifen Plus and it's ingredients are Albendazole (Valbazen) 30 mg, and Abamectine 0.2mg. Pretty sure abamectine is in the same class of wormers as ivermectin. These are pills and the dose is 1 pill per 2.5 pounds, which sounds correct to me.
