don't lose hope. If it was just overnight and you caught it in the morning, they may be totally fine!! I lost power to my incubator one hatch for 15 hours. I had a normal hatch even though I thought they would all be dead.
Ok, someone else said this too. they eggs were stone cold. Does that part matter? How do I tell if ther eis anything alive in there? jsut mark where theya re and see if anything gets bigger? Well, on the eggs that arnt marans, cant see into those marans suckers.

I was thinking the same thing. Every few weeks just take your girls for a, uh, .... Conjugal visit and the. You can hatch to your hearts content. :)

sigh, and we did this all for one little egg that has been pipping for 24 hrs. didn't want to open the bator to put the quail eggs in. if this sucker lives I.m calling her Bailout.

Has anyone been to the Escalon auction http://escalonlivestockmarket.com/ for birds lately? I saw a post from 2010 saying it was good but its been a while.
I have not been to that auction. I am interested in trying the one in Roseville. Does anyone send animals there?

They can take more cold the closer they are to hatch.

Good luck!
