Hi Amy,

Yes either leave it blank or write standard. They have a battery of tests that they will perform.

It is a very informative process.

Bye,

Ron

Thanks you guys!!

I wrote the discount code down on the folder in my chicken notebook. LOL Go me! I should print out some more of those forms huh? I hope I never need to do this again! Whew!

Gosh I am not going to make it today. I will have to run out in the morning. I have been on hold with the IRS foreverrrrr....

Uh oh. My friend's husband is a Fed Ex driver and he said if I drop it off Saturday it will sit until Monday when it will be shipped off? Oh my gosh. That poor dead chicken has been in my fridge since Monday. None of us are creeped out at all but will the sample STILL be ok then? I wonder if anyone local will do one? Who would you even ask?

FYI...if you ever contact the IRS and they tell you a wait time...multiply that by 20 to get an accurate number. ahhh! And heaven forbid should you accidentally hang up or your phone drops the call. The phone tree was horrible all on its own!

Will anyone in this thread be selling Leghorns in the Spring?

Ok, I could go pick up several dozen TJ's eggs and get you some commercial Leghorns. They lay the most of any chicken.

How many do you want?

Zooweemama, I was about to tell you the same thing as Ron! I've hatched some Trader Joe leghorns out before, but they were all roosters. I really wanted them for their big, white eggs also. Recently someone told me that Leghorns are very flighty and unfriendly though (which is why they probably make good caged "commercial" layers.
