thank you RonFlock raiser and free choice calcium. I grind up the crumbles for the very little ones.
I think flock raiser is 19 or 20%.
Would non medicated chick start be the same?

thank you so muchTSC had a non medicated starter that was 27%. 20% is good though.

OMG!!! Adorable!!!
Watch out before you know it you will be hooked.....LOLThank you both. I just candled all 4 and they look like they might be duds from pictures I've found online. Cant Really make out the shape of a chick in any just a dark mass to one end. She has been off quite a bit showing the other 5 where the food and water is. I had posted elsewhere about one chick being wobbly but seems to be pulling thru.
Also have ducks hatching under a mallard right now.
Its been a lot of fun so far![]()

there's another broody duck behind her by a week or so and I'm hoping my Swedes sit on their respective nests soon. Almost 20 eggs a piece there. About to double my volume.
I don't think this emote smiles big enough!I had Swedish ducks before & they were very reliable layers. I had just a trio & had 2 eggs a day. Those hens stayed busy.oh its far to late for that.there's another broody duck behind her by a week or so and I'm hoping my Swedes sit on their respective nests soon. Almost 20 eggs a piece there. About to double my volume.
