I would love some help on identifying these hens.


The brown pullet is likely an EE(Easter Egger). Feed stores call the Americanas--not the official name though.

The white ones look like the pullets that I hatched from Whole Foods fertile eggs. They are a leghorn mix.

Oh I know the brown is Ameraucana, her name is Red. The others I thought were Leghorns but they have red ear lobes and lay brown eggs. Leghorns have white ear lobes and white eggs. Hence the reason I have not been able to figure out what what breed they are as of yet....

The Whole Foods pullets will lay brown eggs too.

Yours could be a similar cross--leghorn by a brown breed or they could be hatchery quality white rhode island reds.

If you know what hatchery they came from(If from a feed store, you can check with them to see what they ordered in this year) and match them.
