Finally trying to get caught up on this thread...wow it moves really fast, I'm just not able to post as much as I used toYou have some really exciting projects Cheryl!
I'm looking forward to joining in soon right along with ya!
I like the tolbunt polish. I wasn't really a top hat chicken kind of guy a few months ago, but now I'm starting to appreciate their uniqueness more and more everyday. And you know I'm in love with the Brahmas. I got a email back from Dan Powell Monday. I asked for his guidance with continuing his breeding projects! His Brahmas are amazing! And I am definitely looking forward to get going on the blue/gold partridge projects very soon.
Those ML leghorns are really cool looking!
I do have mille fleurs if you are wanting to become a breeder of them....PM meWahhhh too bad you didn't have any Jubilee trios. hehehe I be all over that one. Woot! (or even the Mille Fleur)
I've decided I prefer to not buy chicks. Either starteds or hatching eggs lol.
I love your Jubilees (and Mille Fleurs) fyi.Hope you have takers for those extra MF cockerels!![]()
Quote: Certainly Crele. I think Rhodebar or Legbar is more likely, but I'm guessing as well.
Congrats to both of you! Some are quite a bit lighter than I thought they would be. Maybe with their rarity, egg color has been lost.I also got a package of Hatching Eggs today. I am hatching Partridge Penedesencas for Cooper12. Jason had them shipped to me in Woodland. For eggs, the local hop I have is pretty good. These eggs went straight to the Sac Airport and then to West Sac. From there they went to Woodland.
The eggs actually have aircells! and I did not see any floaters in the eggs.
I can't wait until they hatch! Ok, I will have to wait 21 days....

Yes, no question the coloring is crele (one of my favorite color patterns, the reason I have CCL). But I think without knowing the source, you'd have to just call him a pretty barnyard mix.

Most of all you Ron....
Thank you so much.
Quote: Your Welcome!
When the chicks hatch, It's like Christmas Morning to a Kid.
Quote: I sent a PM a couple of Months ago. It got lost?
Quote: Yeah, go Chickies!
Some of those eggs are so big. I hope they hatch! Penes are known for not hatching well but if they lay eggs as nice as these they will be worth it.
