Beautiful pics, Laura! Your chickens look great and those are some awesome oaks you have there. Looks like it's a bit colder up there than down below. Enjoy your weekend!

Amelia is my favorite. Probably to fast to get picked on much with those pene genes. please keep posting pic's the basque will probably be fine as they are super smart and she will find her wayso chilly these last few mornings! i'm ever-thankful for the woodstove that i splurged on last year -- it's keeping the cats and i warm and cozy. but it's nice to be home & able to let the flock out of their coop, so the big girls will pick on the newcomers less -- and i snapped a few pictures yesterday morning:

Jason, I just hatched more Amelias..... I hatched 4 girls and two boys (3 of the girls are Crele Pene X CL and one is Partridge Pene X CL, both boys are CPxCL) . I would like to grow em out for awhile and document how they develop. I certainly don't need all for future breeding so let me know when you are set up in your new houseAmelia is my favorite. Hot Chocolate and and warm firm... That's what I'm asking about.....
OSSHHHH! That was a lot of posts.
Still moving the warehouse but back for the weekend so I thought id say hello to you lovely people.
Welcome newbies!
A few things to say
you people who like canned fish are disgusting! DH i crazy about it, and i harass him always. he particularly likes the smoked trout from tj's.
Amybeth gratz on the calendar image! its a fine photo, ill be happy to see it on my wall, what month? this will be the first calander I've bought in years.
I'm thinking good thoughts for the penn eggs and other chicks in waiting in incubators around nor cal.
Its been a bit of a sad time here. My 12 yr old cat Lhasa who has all the eye trouble dissapeared last week. No sign of her. have out signs rewards, checked the shelters and the chip company, nothing. She cant see really well because she was born with defective eyelids so if no one found her in over a week i'm sure she is gone. My other cats are still lsot without her, they were bottle babies and considered Lhasa mother and hate each other.
Still have a week more of moving the warehouse, then hopefully we will be caught up and I can be home more then 1 day a week again.
Hope everything is well with all of you!
I hope she finds her way home.....
