I think it's about time to cull out my Mille Fleur Leghorn pen. I've got way too many roosters and hens, now need to pair divide up the pen. BUT it's really hard doing it by myself. Wish I had extra pair of eyes, OR 2! looking at these with me!

If anyone wants to come to the ranch.... let me know!

but like the 3rd and second to last Rooster. I like the hens with good spotting but not to much. example, in the last photo I like the hens most . One that is flapping its wings and the one behind the ladder. Of course the one with all the coloring is nice too so I am no help.

on the wormers should I start with Wazine then in 2 weeks use one of the others? I would perfer something I could drop on the skin as trying to get a paste or liquid down there throat is a tough cookie.

I hope you can get a extra pair of hands or 2 over there. Those LH's are beauties.
The rooster in the third picture looks Like a winner.

You're funny! LOL

Well I didn't really post these pics for a critique as they are not great photos, I'll be at the ranch and try to get better ones. I was just wanting to see if someone wanted to come out to look at them. There is no standard for this coloring besides the mille fleur coloring on other breeds, so all help is appreciated. I've been working on these for over 4 years, so I think I'm getting close on the body, because they had speckled sussex in their makeup I've been fighting tail angles, along with many many other things! HA HA

I think they are all beautiful. I like the way you used the ladders .....

For this breed the ladders work really well, they are leghorns but not nearly as flighty because of the speckled sussex in there background. But because they are light they really like the perching.

I can't use the ladders in any of my other pens though! Tolbunts...too dingy, Brahmas big like horses, Jubilees just LARGE, and the Lavender Marans... they are BIG. I had a plan to put these antique ladders in each pen, but then I feared they would create broken limbs, feet problems etc.

are the eggs as white as a leghorn or more off white. they are nice looking. I have a penedesenca with the same pattern. Probably a wheaten x partridge cross. I would like to do something with here because the pattern is so nice. Maybe use here in a Olive egger pen. do not know.
