You need to give the corid for another 5 days at half dose. They need to build resistance to coci or they will have it again. If they have it, it is at your place, so the corid knocks it out and then the second dose allows them to do better when they get it again.

Best wishes!

this will be the first day I use it tomorrow. so do 5 days at half the dose. Think it said a ounce per gallon once I converted it from 5 gallons so I should use 1/2 ounce per gallon?
Thanks Jason

The first round is 5 to 7 days at full dose and then another 5 to 7 days at half dose. The first round kills the coci. the second one controls it until they build up resistance. If you do not give them round two, they often need to repeat round one.

That is dangerous because they get weaker each time.

I hope I am making sense. It's been a busy day...

Wow, those are great. I'll be going to Christmas with my step-kids & grandkids..............could you send me your recipe? And I've been assigned to bring a "side dish" to go with prime rib roast. It's a 3 hour drive, anyone got any ideas? Dang, appetizer, salad or dessert would have been so much easier. Although I do plan to bring some devilled quail eggs too.

I didn't do anything fancy. We just used cake mix and melt and molds. It was all about spending time with my wonderful kids.
I can't wait to see the quail eggs done up :)

Quote: We had a big (kitchen sink) shrimp salad the other night for dinner. I boiled a dozen bobwhite quail eggs, they were much easier to peel than I expected. They are a pain to open raw. I've eaten the quail eggs a few times now and they seem way creamier than chicken eggs.

I disagree. This is not a good example of the color Mille fleur. The bird barely has any white! Each feather is supposed to have a tip of white, then black, then copper.
This is a better example.

True, the one I posted had a better one in the background - I know they are tipped with white, but in the leghorns I'm going for something just a bit different. Tipping in the chest and other areas but other areas with less tipping.

Thanks so much for the picture.
