I LOVE to watch the snow, from inside a nice warm window. And I love seeing the steps/walkway clear of snow/ice (can you tell I was the primary shoveler a few years ago when I lived further up the hill?).

Jason, I did a good candling last night as I locked the eggs down. I used my very bright light and I could get a good look.

Out of your 12 eggs, 5 were clear, 4 look like they had developed and quit, 3 are a good solid dark color inside, although I've never seen any movement. Nothing smells, so I just left them all in since they weren't my eggs. If they were mine, I'd just toss the 9. The rest of the eggs locked down with them, 4 of the 5 eggs I set from my WCB polish (first test hatch) and 5 eggs that appear to have made it from my Secret Santa swap, BCM & OE's.

You can toss the bad ones if you want. I have not candled the ones I set but will tomorrow. Nothing stinky either.

My luck we will get one chick lol then I will be scrambling to get a few friends to keep them company.
Hmm maybe to be safe I will have to get some from Molly Thursday

Today was wonderful. Even though we couldn't get a tree (due to the tree lots selling out almost two weeks before Christmas!) we had a lovely time.

My birds got Re-hydrated cranberries, and cranberry juice. It was a wonderful breakfast for them.

The rain is still pouring down had over here, and everybody is getting soaked.

Hopefully it will let up soon. We have huge puddles everywhere!

I gave mine some scraps and cat food that has fish and salmon meal in it today. Tomorrow I will give them some left over carnitas and something else.

Mine were swimming again...
