Hey Jason, okay here they are: Sorry for taking so long....

BTW for those you who are curious. These eggs are from the offspring of a Crele Penedesenca hen covered by a Cream Legbar Rooster. The second picture is of the pullet that laid these eggs when she was younger.

Laura, you should be getting some of these beauties from Amelia in a couple of months. : )
Oh WOW, Beautiful eggs from a beautiful hen... I like!!

Feeling like I got alot accomplished today. Finished cleaning all the coops and added new straw to the runs. All that wet weather really made a mess. Then tonight, I moved fifteen 19 week old Juvies into the adult flock, and then moved 51 9 week old chicks from the brooder to the juvie pen. Tomorrow, gotta move the 70 + five week old chicks to the barn. Yikes.. not looking forward to that.

Nice color Jason!

Congratulations!!!

Many years ago, I had several peafowl show up and move in with my chickens. They would just hop in and out of the pens, eat from the feeders and roost in the trees. They brooded chicks and got up to around 10 in the flock. They lived side by side with my chickens/ducks/geese without any problems.

Deb

like Deann, this is good to know... my chicken-keeping neighbor might actually be interested in adopting a few peafowl (we could then blame each other for the noise, if anyone else complains -- we both like the sound of peacock calls), so chiqita, you might have some takers if/when the time comes!

Do you know how he made the Crele Dominiques?

A BYCr was going to make them by breeding with Wellsummers. What color eggs do they lay?

I am very intrigued by this...
I will try and find out. He stated that they where already around years ago. He has been working on them for years. I will post pic's later once they come through.
Well we are getting some that I know :)
