Quick question. My mil caught Betty off her nest outside foraging this morning. She said she was outside for at least an hour. But she was back on her nest the rest of the day. Is this normal? Or the eggs junk now? Or is this a sign of a bad broody?
Yeah he is a funny cat. Romaine lettuce. lolLettuce??? Really??? and i thought MY cat was a doofus!![]()
No...but I did find a white egg on the floor of the duck coop just now. It's duck I'm think anyway) - it just has that look to it...covered in poop. I am going to fry it up though tonight. If I crack it open I will know for sure if it is duck or chicken. I'm curious. We do not find duck eggs in the the duck house after letting the ducks out...ever. They do not come to the house to lay eggs. They aren't like chickens.Sounds normal. Let her go and see what happens.

Did you get another white egg today?
It is on the first page of the wanted/for sale Stockton thread.Old age is setting in,
feathers4fun from Oregon is coming down for the Stockton show. Her posting says she will be bringing blue JG pullets and cockarels but would like a PM so she knows what to bring.
Hope this helps, can't find the posting to send the PM myself.
Janet
ETA There will be bantam pullets for showmanship birds as well.
