Welcome back everyone!

Jason: get a cool mist humidifier going and if you have it, use some Codene cough medicine.

Kim: Poultry Palace with Dorkings?

Chicknmama: Are you going to convert the Sportsman to Digital? How exciting for you!

Ooooh, what a great idea - anybody have a clue what those digital thermometer/hygrometers cost?

It did come with the auto watering hose and float so I can set up a bucket up top .. but it needs two more racks - so I will either make some or start searching for those. It has the dual wafer thermometers in case one goes out. I know he told me which number it was - but I was so excited to actually find one I could afford - I plumb forgot what he said (numbers and I never get along).. I think he said 15something..

I admire you (for not buying any new chickens). Did you not see anything you were interested in or was that your plan? Are those eggs for hatching or eating?

I had a couple on my list and brought carriers, but decided to just set eggs instead. I am always so nervous about bring in adult birds and I have the roo I got from you in my quarantine area so I did not want to add more since he almost has his ticket to get out.

I bought and swapped hatching eggs.

I got:
Campines from Deb
Olansk Dwarfs from Diane
and BBS Orps, Swedes, and I need to look in the carton to see what else from Jeff. LOL

Here is a trailer for sale in Folsom I just found on CL. Put a piece of wire and plywood on top until you have time/$ to fix it up better and make it taller. Instant tractor.

Maybe you can make em an offer.

Well, I missed most of you at the show today. Couldn't find Maureen- wanted to buy her awesome honey. Some of you didn't recognize me, when I said hi. I was so glad to see Debi come up and say hello, but I was involved in a discussion with the only Dorking exhibitor I've ever seen at a show. Sorry, Debi, I truly wanted to chat!

Lots of awesome birds. Saw some turkeys that I wished that I could have taken home. My DH was so bored. I kept trying to get him interested. Finally- the Polish caught his eye. He took his time looking and trying to touch each one. I asked him why he liked them. He said that they reminded him of the Beatles in their early days.

Kim I'm sorry I didn't get to chat with you. I was trying to catch up to a lady when I passed you and your family in the barn aisle. When I went back over there you were gone :( Karen was bummed she missed you too.

It was a neat day. I did get a chance to visit with several people and saw some amazing birds. My hubby was very proud of me for only bringing home birds he already knew were coming back with me. Of course I am picking a bunch more up on Tuesday and we don't count all of hatching eggs I swapped for...

Now I'm looking forward to the Fresno show.
