I am addicted to hatching eek...I just hatched some Marans that I had shipped to me And also some of my new hampshires and barred rocks.

Now I have all my own that I set yesterday
-Barnyard mix layers: sex links, New Hampshires, barred rocks
-silver laced wyandottes
- Marans
- and blue laced wyandottes bantams
Excited!!

And it is so great to see them finally after 21 days!

Are ducks harder to hatch? Geese are I think.

One of the Dorking X pullets laid an egg today!

The eggs are, from left to right, Dorking X, SG Dorking, Dorking EE, Partridge Rock(for mike to compare to his) and Blue Marans.



Now I need to get the first egg from the Partridge Pene.....

Oh my- these are all so pretty. Need me some Welsummers and Marans!

Oh my gosh I am so excited and jealous! I cannot wait to hatch some ducky eggs this Summer!! Congrats!

I was able to off the little cockerels on CL fast.

They did! I was so happy. Now I have a brooder ready to hold all 16 chicks if all 16 make it! LOL Jeff said some have already pipped. eeeeeeeeeeeee!
