California - Northern

Fairly painlessly I just handed over two of my three roos to a nice cowboy in front of BOA. I didn't ask their destiny...I'm not sure i want to know.

Oh and on another funny note. The polish pictured yesterday had a sleep over in my bedroom last night in that same spot on my vanity. She was just sleeping there so peacefully I couldn't bear to move her. Of course this is a one time thing!

AWWW! I bet she loved it!

Did you Craiglist them? My friend still has not found anyone to take her two aggressive roosters. I've asked everyone I know who hunts and no one wants to bother. I think they are all too used to deer. Thinking about putting an ad in for her.

I did and it worked. Mine weren't aggressive though, but they didn't even ask. Gave me extra money too.

I have 2 of these. Any guesses on breed? Like a smokey color - not quite black.

They have feathery feet. They almost remind me of marans. I was going to CL them but I don't even know the breeds. If they are marans - I would offer them as such.

They look like Marans to me...I would say At least one parent was a Maran.

Tilled the garden today. The chickens were going crazy over all the worms etc. We're getting ready for spring:) DH bought me a rototiller for a early Valentines day present. LOL, so far a presents over the last few years... I've gotten a lawn mower, a leaf blower, weadeater, and shop vac. I love getting useful gifts that make my chores easier. Your garden area looks awesome. Great way to terrace.

Hi,
I saw the pictures of your beutiful bantam cochins. Do you have any eggs from your calico cochins (pictured in your profile picture)? We are in Minnesota, so would need them shipped with a warm pack. We are looking for 12-24 eggs.
Thanks,
Josh & Maria
