hi y'all -- school has been crazy and i haven't remotely been able to keep up with this thread, but just wanted to drop in and say hi -- hi!!

Just wanted to let you all know that my sister's surgery went well yesterday!  They did a double mastectomy and took out 2 lymph nodes which were clear.  Praise God!  She has a long road to recovery and a year for the reconstruction but we are just thankful that the cancer is out of there.  Monet and I are staying with my nieces and doing fun girl things while mommy is in the hospital.  It even managed to snow yesterday here in Denver so Monet got to play in the cold stuff.

I myself have been dealing with a lump in my breast. It has been a little scary. I had a bad infection so they have been running test for over a month. I have been seeing a Inflammatory breast cancer specialist. Now that they have the infection under control, they are going to figure out the lump...

I'm sure I will be fine. It's just scary!
