Do you have a spot check ordered? I use a water wiggle toy to make a probe that sits next to the eggs. It is in the top left of the picture. You can see the probe inside the toy. The water is red from food coloring--helps to see the water level in the channels. See the second genesis on the right? It had staggered hatching eggs in it....

Where do you get the probe thermometer? That's a great idea!

It is surprising that the rain does not blow through them.

When i think about it I can see that it wouldnt' blow through . We have some places they they would help with rain and privacy from the neighbors

The Spot check it $19.00 from Brinsea.com. I got the toy from Amazon.com. Sometimes you can find the toy in stores but it is hard to find. It is a great way to tell the temp inside the incubator.
