Your are on the list!

I just hatched 31 chicks! I have my FBCM Rooster in with my layer flock so most will be sex links. Day old. Great layers and beautiful eggs. :) PM me if interested

I Currently have two broodies...one of my cuckoo Marans and a big blue English Orpington ... I'm just going to let them go for it

this will be the first time for both of them

I have all my fingers crossed hoping for one of my girls to go broody! i keep explaining to my two cuckoo marans that they are "supposed" to tend that way... maybe they'll learn something from your example, Miss Molly!

I'm so impressed by all you folks with incubators... but i cannot let myself go down that road at this point. so hoping one (or more!) of the girls decides that take that job on herself.

Anyone getting broodies yet?

I have a barnevelder hen that is plucking her belly, but she's not broody yet.

Two proven broodies in the coop, hogging nest boxes (there are plenty for layers), one BCM/Silkie broody in a pile of pruned tree branches from last year I left as safe hiding habitat for Escapee Bunny (who has been captured and is back in her luxurious hutch), and two very broody Cauyga duck hens in silly nests in the yard.

Sparkle is raising the four chicks she hatched two weeks ago. I don't think she'll be ready to sit on any turkey eggs when it comes time to set them for the Cinco de Mayo Turkey Hatchathon.
