My little over-achiever, there are 11 large and 1 bantam egg in there with her. She's not happy with me!

Doing her best but she's just not big enough. Fawn silver duck-wing OEGB.

Well it looks like we are yet again downsizing and will be renting our home and moving.

I'll have my entire flock available for purchase in addition to the new chicks I have just gotten...red orpingtons & swedish flower hens from greenfire and Barnevelders - a mix of blue, buff & regular

PM me I'll try to list my current members of my backyard flock... I love them all and want them to go to good homes
I'm sorry to hear that. Is there anything we can do to help? I might be interested in a handful of hens. I'll pm you.

Yeah that would be a whole lot easier. And fairly quick and fool proof, but I am kind of a whimp when it comes to that. I am looking for less action, less hands on! Lol

I used a big ziplock bag, with pine shaving in it, to take care of a couple baby rats we caught. I figured if they didn't have any oxygen they wouldn't make it long. They seemed to curl up and go to sleep, and they were dead in the morning.

Not having heard anything in a while I was hoping things were going well for you Cheryl.
Hope all this change is for the better and that you will soon find loving homes for your flock.

I've got chicken fever and would take some, but our newly built coop will be at capacity as it is (God forbid they turn out to be nearly all roos).

I'm sorry to see this, Cheryl -- i wish i had more pens already! i would love some SFH girls to go with my lovely roo Max... but i'm taking two of Ron's amelias this weekend, plus one of the basques has thoroughly settled in to her role as the first broody of my flock:

I will need to start making plans to expand my chicken lodgings soon!
