Oh gosh, how cute!!! I kind of hope I get a broody and can hatch out some chicks under her :)

Here's a random picture from the day before yesterday. The chicks enjoy chasing bugs on my iPhone.

Goose egg #8...the egg's 'name' lol is slated to hatch Monday. It's so far very alive.I am SO excited! SOOOO excited eeee!

I have a question...we lock down goose eggs at pip so I'm assuming that could happen anytime this weekend. I need to add a few chicken eggs in the bator for a friend. I will have to jack the humidity up when I do lock down. Should I add the eggs now, wait until pip...not sure what to do here. I can't wait until after hatch though - I don't want to take a chance on having to wait until mid-week to set the eggs. Thanks! :D

Here a couple of pictures of the Crele Penedesenca chicks I hatched from eggs from Jason of Hangtown. I think I have 7 girls and 1 boy, but I may have 2 boys. Thanks for the great eggs Jason!

More chick pics. These are Bantam Olansk Drarfs and Bantam Calico Cochins from Dyanne (byc Chooklet). I hatched 5 Calico Cochins but the brooders in the house was full so some were put in the brooder in the barn before I had a chance to get pictures. I will get more pictures when they are juvies. I am thrilled to have some new bantams in my flock. Dyanne, Thanks for the great eggs and healthy chicks!

Deanne darling babies...I am counting the days! Hope you are performing the nightly "be a girl" ritual next to the OE bator as we discussed
