This year's stuck lamb did not make it. It would have required a probably $500 mobile vet bill to resolve the issue for a ewe we were going to put down. You have to draw the line somewhere with livestock. It might have been different if it wasn't the second year in a row with the same ewe. We have 30-40 sheep, you have to keep a strong line.

Now last year's lamb was a different story. This was Fella.................he lived in the hall bathroom for his first month. He is about 16 mos old now and still comes running when he sees us. He would much rather hang out with his family than a bunch of sheep. LOL

Absolutely! It's just some people say things that are so outlandish, it isn't worth rebutting. I usually say nothing or "how lucky for you" and move on, LOL

Don't drink the water...................

Good morning!

So I've been giving the chicks yogurt every morning, and most of them have normal poops now...But a couple still have diarrhea, and I think it's 2? chicks refuse to eat the yogurt. What else can I give them?
About every 6-7 poops for all chickens is running yellow, diarrhea looking stuff, perfectly normal. It's just when they never have formed droppings, it's a problem. Make sure it isn't just the normal state for that chick. The range of normal is HUGE.
Pictures of poo, LOL

Can someone please help me identify my new chicks ? i picked them up at the feed store to keep my singleton Silkie chick company. I was hoping to pick out Cochins and chose the black ones and then my DH wanted the red/brown one...
