Me either, although I remember someone on here saying they tried it and their birds didn't do well. Don't remember who though.
It may have been me. I fed Bar Ale for awhile...not sure if it was non GMO or not. My birds didn't like it, it was more expensive then king and at the time I had Ray ad the oyster shell was incorporated into the feed so I switched out.

My girls are not overly keen on the king pellets either but they do eat it. It's just that they prefer it when mixed with yogurt or buttermilk.

In the evenings that's their bedtime snack. I like the fact that their poops are so much easier to deal with on king.

That is great! what do you put down so the roof doesnt get wet?
40 mil pond liner or corigated roofing will work. they will need to cover some of those varieties in the winter as well as they are probably not all frost tolerant to Fresno. Or if any do freeze just replace them with hardier hens and chicks( sempervivum not echeveria ) or sedum like angelina ,dragons blood , voodo , or tricolor

At what age will I be able to tell if this little chick is a male or female? Silver Polish...It's about 2 weeks old now.
