Hurrah! I like that kind of chicken drama! Hatch little chickies - Hatch!

definitely the best kind! here is a picture of Daisy with four of the six that have hatched -- 2 CLs from Deann, and from miss Molly's eggs, 2 isbars and 2 isbar/blue marans crosses -- and there are three isbar eggs still in the nest, hoping they hatch too:

How old are your Marans? If you have 1-2 that are a little grown out, that's what I'd be most interested in. We're already over our coop limit and I can't afford more than the 2 roosters I have.

Does any one have any idea if these two are bantam, or standard? They are both 5 day old Blue Laced Red Wyandottes, but the breeder I got the eggs from had both, and only marked the eggs BLRW. These are the only two I have right now, so I have nothing to compare them to. I do have my grocery store eggs due to hatch Wednesday though.....
