Willa. She likes to hang in the coop door way but she got closer to me today too...Something is in the air

This however is par for the course for Godiva the Avian Football/Lap Chicken. Can you she she is brown barred??? She came from Chooks Chick's project. I was going to sell her with the PR pullets but she is way too sweet for that.

I thought it might be a protector type. Our dogs are the "put on a good show but run for it at the first sign of real danger type." Our biggest won't go out the back door if the chickens are there since Della pecked him on the foot.

Emma, my Great Dane barks and then stands behind me, pressed up against my leg. It's a protection thing..........................."Mom, protect me!"

hahahaha We think Cyrus of the pecked paw may be part GD he has the tail and the chest and the head but on a smaller scale

Inspired by the Amelias I Googled "Famous Female Pilots" and after reading the list have settled on either Sally or Bessie or Willa. Then I thought of Krista McAuliffe and threw that into the mix as well.

I like that. Now I have to go google her. I could change Godiva's name to Barrel because she is shaped like one but she is chocolate and she is sweet so really I can't.

no iM NOW DROWNING IN EGGS EXCEPT FOR THE SILKIES, THAT ARE IN A BROODY BONANZA. Oppps caps. But I have 4 possibly 5 silkies sitting on a pile. Until today they were on 2 duck eggs, but I gave them the turkey eggs for the weekend.

I am upgrading to digital, so Im using up the outside chicken broodie space!
