I promise I did not wash my car ...

Ron - congratulations on the hatch! 100%?!? They are so awesome!

All of the Pita Pinta eggs hatched so 100% for them. 1 of the 2 Basque eggs hatched so 50% for them.

The hatched as well as non shipped eggs! Great job pacing them. They are all healthy too--No curled toes, Spradle leg and they are not missing any eyes.

They are eating and drinking too.

Ali...from the first post that I read of yours I felt like we were meant to be friends...same thought patterns great minds

Hi NorCal Peeps!!  I'm from SoCal, but will be going to Vacaville to visit my daughter for my grandson's 1st birthday.  I'm wondering if ANYONE can recommend somewhere to get Poults from?  I posted in the turkey thread and the want ads and am having the worst of luck.  I plan on driving back from v-ville on 7/9 going through Gilroy and Gonzales with a pit stop at Metzer Farms for ducklings and goslings.

I cannot afford some of the exorbitant prices I've seen, so I'm hoping the locals will know the perfect place/person with great stock!

I have LOTS of turkey poults (30ish), new (1-2 weeks old) and six+ weeks old. I have slate, black & a few RP.

I'm located in the foothills east of Sacramento, about 1.5 hours from Vacaville.

I know Kelly, I know.

I almost posted that Deb probably had some left from the Cinco De Mayo Turkey Hatch a long....

I hatched shipped eggs--one of the chicks was missing an eye. Otherwise ok though. Jordan has that one.
I know I saw your post about the missing eye, and it kind of freaked me out. Maybe the other shipper forgot to include both eyes for that egg.......

(I know I know!!!! My sense of humor is odd!)

It is very funny.

The chick does not mind since it has the other eye.
