yeah. I kind of have 2 I think the one just likes to sleep on its back though. The poly vi sol worked great. Though when she looks up at me she still falls backwards. however they are all running around like crazy in there

OK the stupid stag was at it again. Orlando walked up when he rushed me and pecked him on the head.

You could see him saying " dude if you ruin this I'll personally stick you in the pot"

Then he did a little dance for me. God I love Orlando.

Thank your for sharing the Orlando Story.

oh, they're beautiful!!

all my chicklets are enjoying the cooler temperatures today, although my light sussex girl seems to be celebrating by going broody. *sigh* -- perhaps i'll just split the 11 eggs Deb sent me between the two broodies, rather than give her something new? but i may need to separate them out of the main flock now, as they're taking up two of the three laying boxes.

IF you move broodies on eggs, does one do that at night? or does it matter, since they're so fixated on sitting?

answering my own question here: as it's occurred to me that i can try moving the new broody, since she's not sitting on anything yet, and if she breaks out of her broody mood, no great loss -- then, if it works, i can always try moving the other as well, since then there will always be one available to sit on the eggs if the other gets grumpy.

so, will give it a try!
