The noon TV weather forecast for today was "low nineties, warming up later this week."

"Warming" up? Once we're above 70 degrees, it's already "WARM." After 80, it's HOT! Nineties, "low" or not, are brutal. Warm up. What are these people, visitors from the planet Mercury?!?

96 here. <*muttering*> " Warm.". My sweaty butt!

I think it was 93 when I decided not to go look any more...

I also think they don't know how to say "HOT".... maybe its not politically correct?

Hey! A group processing gathering! What a great idea! Does anyone know how to process rabbits???

I've seen it done, but I haven't done it myself. It's supposed to be pretty easy.

Other than yes, I can process rabbits too. When my son was in 4H he kept a herd of around 250 rabbits. One of his major breeds were Californians, but it's been a while since I've done one.

Poultry, I usually go for around 3 per session. I plan to do a few more tomorrow (while I'm roasting the turkey I did today). It was WAY too small, almost not worth finishing up. We certainly need to grow them out a few more months. Just need to find the pen space. I think we've figured out where to move the birds around.

I traded some penedesenca eggs. I got mine today.
I have not seen crele penedesenca eggs as dark as a few of the ones that came.
They are as dark as the partridge eggs I last got

I dont think so based on the photos I have seen. However its possible which is fine as all the hen chicks would be crele anyways and the roosters would yield 1/4 crele and 3/4 single barred
just use the crele roosters.
crele penedesenca is just double barred partridge
