Hi welcome! For Hardware Cloth the best place I have found it so far is www.wayfair.com. I can get the 100x3 ft roll for $89.50 right now. Can't remember if there is tax or not but there is free shipping and they ship fast. I had mine in two days. Plus I didn't have to schlep it from the store. Delivered right to my front door!:)

OK, we are having shark week here. Mario just ran in telling me to come listen outside.

There is a bobcat screaming on the other side of the ravine. All I need now are a couple of dancing snakes and a pregnant raccoon.

I have never heard them before I had to listen on the internet. Mario was worried someone was being murdered.

I'm hoping she scares the crap out of the foxes. Plus, the foxes got a silkie so small and got chased so hard I think it was a net caloric loss. I'm hoping they felt gyped and will move on. I'm seeing them tell their little fox friends. " dude it looks like a 5 star buffet but it sucks. Plus I got skunked, who wants that?" Let's go downtown and nibble on resteraunt leftovers instead."

I did not know we use stucco wire for runs ( not coops) but I was told we do so I guess I like it too!

Welcome new people!

The air here has been declared hazardous . Since my little one is prone to respitory infections we are out of here. Ill have to come back up the mountain mid week to keep track of the animals and grade school work. Several of my daughters will stay here to take care of the animals and their daddy;-)

I dread the weekly drive but he is starting the creepy cough and that's terrifying. Thank goodness for family in San Jose. Hoping I taught the girls well on how to take care of the pets.

wow, there really must be something about august that brings the critters out!!

my neighbor (who also has chickens, his never leave the coop/run due to problems with predatory raccoons years ago, he & his wife decided No More and have never turned back) has a motion-sensored Critter Cam and is determined to get a photo of our bobcat, he keeps leaving bait near the cam -- so far has produced gorgeous pictures of several foxes, an opossum, a hungry-looking coyote, two of my three housecats, and himself, coming to check on the camera -- but no bobcat. yet i see it here almost every other day or so, hanging around waiting for the Chicken Buffet to open again. it apparently is shy of the paparazzi.

That's where I buy mine from, too! The last roll that I purchased was a 100 x 4 ft. roll..

Sorry Pancake hasn't turned up yet. I'll keep hoping she turns up.
Glad to hear the PP are popping out. My EO's seemed to have suffered for shipping into OR.

The trip to Salem was interesting. Trying to make sure DD had all her stuff I left my suitcase sitting on the loveseat. I remembered it after we were 1 1/2 hours North! Internal alarm clock went off at 2:30 am.

Mariah got a call back on showmanship. The judge was a vet student, the guestions in the final round were on internal organs and the functions they preform. Not her strong point and she was out pretty early but the judge didn't dismiss them, they were kept at the tables holding their birds at full attention even though she was clearly done with them.

Confirmation was a joke also. They were telling kids that their hatchery birds weren't really the breeds they thought. DD was told her orp bantam was to big-he really is very close to SOP. She got a blue but they didn't bat an eye at the BIG sebrights. Would have been funny if it hadn't hurt so many kids. We have gotten spoiled with APA/ABA judges these last years.

We finally made it home at Midnight. Her baked goods all got blues but we couldn't find her croched gloves anywhere.
