You Guys are making me want to fire up my incubator--it's getting bad--I might start getting the jitters soon....

Come on over to the dark side, Ron!!! You will have plenty of company! I may only take a break from hatching for Christmas this year!

Put me in the incubating again club too. I put welsummer eggs in the bator a couple of days ago.

I have some u of A olive eggers and crele penedesenca set to hatch this weekend.
Then I will set black and crele penedesenca and white empordanesa

for all of them to hatch...

I am already thinking about my next hatch. Maybe some of the golden cuckoo Marans and 1st generation OEs out of my GCM rooster x Ameraucana hens.

Ahh! I capitulated on the bin page and claimed some basque. I couldn't resist ! Next week will have basque in the mini and quail in the bator.

Well I figured at the great auction price I would try them. The maraduna are so beautiful! I only bought a set of 8eggs so we shall see if I fall I love or not. Then ill go off the mountain in search of healthy flock mates. Ron has basque also right? Who else keeps these?

Megan2000, (not sure on the # of 0's), has them. I believe they are direct imports. Ron has them also.. There are a few others on the thread that have them but I'm not sure if they are breeding them.

Yes, I have Basque. I Hatched about 80 of them this year. They are at the egg farm in Winters. Next year I will be hatching more, mated with Megan's line. I have 4 Roosters that I hatched from her flock. One of them will be the breeder for the best 4 of the ones I hatched this year. I will have access to hatching eggs from them.

Good choice getting them!
