California - Northern

I am sure others will pick up the Olandsk Drarf's.

When do you get the Basque hatching eggs? I might be able to get a couple of pullets for you.

The Basques are beautiful!! Where do you find those? (aka I must get a few!!)

If a bird has cocci is it contagious? Or does it just get passed through infected poop? I have a few chicks I got from someone and they're puffed up and sneezing, and scrawny. I just started corid today. They're seperate but I'm worried about the rest of my chickens though.

Are you sure they have coccidiosis? I am not aware of sneezing being a symptom. Definitely keep those birds separated from your established flock in case they have one the contagious respiratory diseases.

Good luck.

It is passed through the poo. It hangs around a long time. Most chickens become resistant to the Protozoa.

Yes, sneezing is not a symptom of coccidiosis. They may have a respiratory illness. That can be bad. Check the health threads.

My hatching eggs came from Skyline.

Check with juststruttin to see if she has some now or can put you on a list for them.

Chickengirl1304,
Must agree with others that sneezing is not good sign. Move them as far away from your other birds as possible.

If you use shavings, have you switched brands or it there cedar in it?

Yes, ammonia can also make them sneeze.

Watch for swollen and or nasal discharge. Those are signs of a respiratory problem
