My order of replacement basque eggs ( cluckitall was generous) came so I pulled out the bater... And then... I couldn't bear to eat the eggs from my sweet olandsk dwarfs so I threw a batch in with the basque....and then I lost a few quail ( literally) so I pulled out the brinsea and fired it up.... And then my husband asked what on earth was going on in the living/dining room and said that he wasn't building a coop in the middle of winter...... And then..... I sold my entire flock of hatchery birds to my friend off the hill in exchange for a bunch of her raw honey!!!!! YEAH!!!!.... Space in the coops!

Now the quail are rocking and Rollin and I candle the basque and olandsk tonight

Then I'll turn off the baters..... But wait..... A New Year's Day hatch?!?

Ooooh I never thought of a NYD hatch! Oh that would be awesome! I promised no more the rest of the year. That would totally let me keep my promise! I only promised it to myself, no one else minds. Whatever mom does is fine so far =D Oh, I totally love that idea!
