Speaking of entertainment... Our three serama Roos take the cake. Just the fact that they survived the -14 week and love to run around in the snow is amazing to me! They are the funniest characters. And their feathering is just striking. Ill have to get some pictures up. They are much larger than I expected also. As large at my olandsk dwarf hens, who's sweetness I attribute to keeping the serama alive out there .
So our dwarfs have picked up laying and I think are fully settled I'm from being relocated. To me that means no mor eating e eggs and prep for a pre spring fertility check hatch. If I do it this month they will be fully feathered and able to get outside before the baby comes. That will help out a ton and I won't be considered insane when I set up for turkeys in may/ June. ( exactly when the baby will come!;-) )
Who wants to enable me with turkeys?....
A few marraduna basque...
A few cream legbar....
I really love the dark eggs. I want more Marans

Oh man, before I saw Ron's post I was going to say Penedesencas!! I don't have any but thanks to the enablers on this forum they are on my list!! I also want them crossed with CL, and some crossed with UofA's, and some just plain UofA's, and…well you know how it goes. The great thing is: I will probably keep all of these in one pen. Well that's the story I'm telling my husband for nowI like the Penedesencas!

My Golden Cuckoo Marans pullets are super layers. I have four and get 2 to 4 eggs every dayReally?!?? Mine are like 1 every 2-3 days! Maybe I should buy some from you next time![]()
@Hangtown Farmsdo to a set in stone breeding program I may be offering a few cool hens.
2 U of A blue egg layers ( blue and splash) can not tell the eggs from my silver ameraucana
and since there in with a crele rooster now it could goof up my olive egger project.
Go for it.cool.
I may need another run![]()
I was thinking of building 3 12x22 runs for smaller numbers of breeders and 2 grow out runs
